Adopted From acclivius: Stilentain Species

This Stilentain was adopted from Acclivius, I was lucky enough to catch the last of a limited freebie to colour in.

I've clearly based this fellow's colours off of my Chelsea... XD So I might called him or her Chel. But will have more of a think about it. Me and my stars... I love star shapes, wonder if I should have placed it on the pocket...may change that later.

Going to write a little bio about him/her later also, I'm thinking of making him/her easily excitable, so the tail might be yellow most of the time, however here he/she is chilling.


Information about the species taken from the Stilentain Species's Sheet: acclivius's words-

"This is the species sheet for my new race, the Stilentians!  They're a race of very scientifically inclined anole lizards.  Their name is a mix of Stilio(the latin word for lizard), and Scientia(the latin word for science).  I had trouble putting them together into a name but my good friend, KitsuyuuKat helped me out with it!

Stilentians live underground in vast, scientific communities that are always evolving with the latest in medical and technological finds.  They are extremely curious beings that study just about anything that perks their interests.  However, just like us, their personalities vary, so even though the majority of their race is bent on enineering and science, it isn't uncommon to find a Stilentian working in a different profession, or even leaving their underground homes to live with the natives above.

These creatures communicate their emotions by the colors on the tips of their tails.  Green is happy, yellow is excited, blue is relaxed, crimson is angry, pink is love and attraction, white is neutral, darker blue is sadness, and black signifies a Stilentian's death.  This is the only area of their body that can change color, despite their chamelian looks.  They can communicate in a number of languages, including English, but also have their own which consists of clicks, hisses, and squeaks.  When they speak, their tails will move along with their hand gestures to help get across what they'd like to say.

Stilentians have civilizations on many planets where they study the behavior and cultures of other sentient beings.  Most of the time, they'll show respect to others and try not to interfere in their societies, however, there are many mad scientists within their race who will have no problem at all abducting new lifeforms for their cruel experiments."
